Dr. Navchaiten Dosanjh
Dr. Dosanjh has been a chiropractor since 1998, having obtained her training in Oregon. She has since then worked in Washington State, and in 2009 returned to Vancouver. She loves working with her hands and being in constant contact with people.
While her practice has always been a general one (including hockey players and professional athletes!), she treats large numbers of pre and post-natal women as well as infants and children. She is certified in Webster technique (which can be helpful in breech pregnancies) and also actively pursues continuing education with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association ICPA.
Dr. Dosanjh treats infants from a few days old, and notes that many babies can have uneven neck alignment resulting from their position in the womb. Chiropractic can also help infants who have experienced any type of birth trauma; it can relieve growing pains and aid the growth process in general. Documented gains have also been seen with colic, ear infections, and infants' immune systems. Post natal work often involves mothers who have pelvic instability, limb numbness or other residue from epidural anesthetics, breastfeeding issues or any postural realignment after birth.
Dr. Dosanjh practices at Granville and 66th, charges $40 per visit, and welcomes new patients.
