We will draw a prize amongst the people who visit our table.

COME AND MEET US AT BIRTH FEST

This year's Birth Fest will be held on Saturday February 26 from 11 am to 4 pm at the Britannia Community Centre Gym.

Present will be all the lovely people from Birth Lounge, as well as up to 40 other vendors and participants, Polliwog included! Read a description of last year's event under 'Annual Events' and join us for the fun.

This year's line-up also includes live music with Navaro Franco, Christine Gaspar, Zox of the Forest and Jim Meyer. This year's later hours are sure to fit around everyone's napping schedules!

 

WHAT BABY ITEMS WE ACTUALLY DON'T NEED?

We at Polliwog subscribe to something of an anti-consumerist agenda.  Many first time parents can be overwhelmed with the baby paraphernalia available these days.

To make things easier, Polliwog is thus embarking on an informal survey on 'what are the most common baby items that we didn't need'.  Please write to us!  We will make a feature from the results and hope to create a very helpful list for new parents.

So let us hear it - and surprise us! Change table? Exersaucer? High Chair? Polliwog  rarely engages in product promotion - and this is pretty much the opposite! Use the 'Send Us a Note' button for your thriftiest ideas.

FAMILY PIZZA NIGHTS AT ROCKY MOUNTAIN FLATBREAD

These rainy days it can be hard to find outings that keep the entire family dry. How about giving the family chef a break and heading out to Kits for a family pizza night?

Rocky Mountain Flatbread Company has 'Family Pizza Nights' on Sundays and Mondays from 5-7 pm. Parents can order from the main menu and little ones can go into the kitchen and make their own pizzas! Even a picky eater will be excited to eat their own creations.
